Opportunity
Papa Johns has a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The global pizza leader believes DEI is a competitive advantage and seeks to create a culture that reflects its broad employee and customer base. Because of this commitment, Papa Johns celebrates and showcases different cultures and traditions throughout the year during heritage months. Small Potatoes Communications provided heritage month graphics that reflected Papa Johns' brand while celebrating and respecting the diversities of different cultures.
Our Approach
The first step was to understand the heritage that's being celebrated. Whether it's Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, or any other cultural celebration, research is key. We learn about the history, traditions, and symbols associated with the heritage.
After researching, we dive into design elements:
-
Colors: Choose colors associated with the heritage. For instance, red, green, and black for Black History Month or red, yellow, and green for Hispanic Heritage Month.
-
Images: Incorporate images or symbols that represent the culture, such as national flags, traditional attire, or cultural icons
-
Typography: Use fonts that are either traditional or evoke a sense of the culture.
-
Our graphics reflect Papa Johns’ brand while respecting the heritage of the employees, customers and partners they’re celebrating.
